Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Angela Schultz collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. Angela Schultz is operated by Pink Pixel LLC (Trade Number 61-2248334), 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, which is the business responsible for the information described here.
1. Information you give us
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Billing and delivery addresses
- Order details and purchase history
- Messages you send us by email, phone, or our contact form
- Marketing preferences, if you subscribe
Payment card details are entered directly into our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number, expiry date, or security code.
2. Information we collect automatically
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Device type, operating system, and browser
- Pages viewed, time on page, and how you arrived at the site
- Items viewed and added to your cart
- Cookie and similar identifiers
3. Information from others
We receive information from our payment processor, our shipping partners, and our advertising and analytics providers — for example confirmation that a payment succeeded, or that a parcel was delivered.
4. Why we use it
- To take payment, fulfil your order, and deliver it
- To send order confirmations, shipping notifications, and tracking
- To answer your questions and handle returns and refunds
- To detect and prevent fraud and to keep the site secure
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
- To show you relevant advertising, where you have not opted out
- To send marketing email, where you have subscribed
- To meet our tax, accounting, and other legal obligations
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with providers who need it to do a job for us, and only for that job:
- Shopify — hosting the store, processing payments, fraud screening
- Suppliers and logistics partners — your name and delivery address, so your order can be picked, packed, and shipped
- Carriers — to deliver your parcel and provide tracking
- Analytics and advertising providers — «TO CONFIRM: list exactly what is installed. Likely Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity. Name each one that is live and delete the rest.»
- Email marketing platform — «TO CONFIRM: name the platform, e.g. Omnisend or Shopify Email»
- Professional advisers and authorities — where the law requires it
6. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart and session working, remember your preferences, measure how the site is used, and support advertising and remarketing. Essential cookies are required for the site to function. You can block or delete other cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then not work as intended.
Some of our advertising cookies involve sharing identifiers with advertising partners. Under California law that counts as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising, and you can opt out — see our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
7. Session recording
«TO CONFIRM: keep this section only if Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar is installed.» We use a session-analytics tool that records how visitors move through the site — pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement — so we can find and fix usability problems. These recordings are pseudonymised and we configure the tool to mask text you type, including anything entered at checkout.
8. How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for the purposes above and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements — normally seven years from the date of your order. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained on the schedules set by the providers named above.
9. Security
The site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection and payments are processed under the PCI Data Security Standard. We limit access to personal information to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take these obligations seriously and will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.
10. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we shared it with
- Receive a copy of that information in a portable form
- Have it corrected if it is inaccurate
- Have it deleted, subject to legal exceptions such as completing your order or keeping tax records
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information — though we do not collect or use sensitive personal information as that term is defined
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We do not offer different prices or a lesser service to anyone who exercises them.
To exercise any of these, email hello@angelaschultz.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will verify your identity by asking you to confirm details we already hold, such as an order number, and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorised agent, in which case we will ask for proof of their authority.
11. Rights in other states
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws — including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Montana — have broadly similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out. Use the same email address and we will handle your request under the law that applies to you.
12. Marketing email
We only send marketing email to people who ask for it. Every message has an unsubscribe link and we act on it immediately. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional email about an order you have placed.
13. Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Third-party links
Our site links to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
15. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The effective date below shows the current version.
